What’s In My Hospital Bag?
This is the hospital bag that I will be packing for baby E. I want to embroider her name across it – its a Vera Bradly Small Travel Duffel Bag.

- Nursing bras
- Pack of underwear for comfort
- 2 pairs of socks – just in case
- Shoes for there and back (haven’t decided based on my swollen feet)
- Slippers for hospital stay
- Shower sandals
- Toiletry bag & shower essentials

- 2 sweatpants
- 2 shirts
- 1 jacket
- 1 set of pajamas
- 2 briefs
- 2 pairs of socks
- Shoes for there and back
- Slippers + shower shoes
- 1 beanie/hat
- Toiletry bag
- Blanket + pillow

- 3 onesies
- 3 swaddles
- 1 outfit for pictures
- 1 baby blanket
- 3 bows + 1 hat
** I have been told that the hospital will supply diapers & wipes for baby, but feel free to bring whatever you need to make yourself feel prepared.
Keep in mind: I was told by my hospital that they will provide more than enough for postpartum recovery, so I wouldn’t worry too much about packing all those essentials, unless you know you want to use something specific. However, I personally have found creams that work well for me and I will be bringing certain items that I know work for my body. Also, I heard that anything left over from your hospital stay will get sent home with you! 🙂
